5/28 - 5/31Greetings 4.2 families! The fourth graders had a great week of learning. I noticed a lot of students were really taking ownership of their learning and I saw their effort to finish this year strong! Here is what we will be doing this next week:
-Author's Tea Day is on Friday, 6/7, starting at 9:00am. Parents are welcome to join from 9:00am-10:30am. Please come here the stories that the students wrote! -Last day of school is on June 12. Early student dismissal at 12:30pm -Students will begin bringing home some of their school items for the summer. If you would like for them to carry a sturdy bag to carry things home, you may have them bring a bag to school. 5/20 - 5/24Greetings 4.2 families! The fourth graders had an amazing week with wonderful China project presentations, and we ended the week with our field study trip to the caves, the castle and the Yuntanza museum. We learned so much! Here is what we will be doing this next week:

We are going on our study trip to the caves and the Yuntanza museum on Friday. This is what we will be doing this week:
- China Project: Please encourage your child to work on the research and the project which is due on May 14. -There will be a Field study trip on May 17 (Friday) to the caves and the Yuntanza Museum. Please bring an obento lunch ( sack lunch). We will be returning to campus and we will have Japanese/PE/literacy on Friday as well. -Math chapter 9 and 10 test is on Thursday. 5/6 - 5/10Greetings 4.2 families! We are finished with MAP testing. We are excited about the growth that the students have showed! We have a full week of learning ahead. Here is what we will be doing this week.
- Students have been assigned a social studies project. Please encourage your child to work on the research and the project which is due on May 13. -There will be a Field study trip on May 17 (Friday). A permission form was sent home, please return the form signed. We are looking for parents who would like to join the trip and lead a small group of students. If you are interested in joining, please indicate so on the permission form. |
